DB Networks, a privately-held predictive database data loss prevention company headquartered in San Diego, announced on May 11 it has changed its name to DB CyberTech.

The name change enables the company to better align with its strategy and technologies in cyber security, according to a news release.

DB CyberTech addresses a critical gap of current enterprise DLP (data loss prevention) security products by preventing database data loss before it happens.

“Our strategy and product portfolio continues to be focused on enterprise security software and we felt it necessary for our name reflect this,” said Brett Helm, chairman and CEO of DB CyberTech.
