— EvoNexus is hosting a Demo Day at which eight of its founders will pitch their companies.

The event is at 5:30 p.m. March 28 at Qualcomm headquarters.

Visitors will hear from Axalume, a fabless semiconductor startup; DoWhop, a peer-to-peer marketplace for activities; Evasyst, a gaming app that allows players to view one another’s screens; LynxBio, a cytomics company focused on identifying the best therapeutic options for patients with blood cancer; MemComputing, which has developed a new type of computational memory that can solve previously unsolvable computational problems; SimpleForms, which streamlines employment documents; Usyno, which facilitates currency exchange and transactions; and Vray, a payments platform. Evasyst is based at the EvoNexus site in Irvine, while the others operate out of its La Jolla location.
