A COO/CFO gig at Carlsbad’s Oska Wellness belongs to Bob Ohlweiler, who has held positions with Hewlett-Packard, Kodak, Yahoo, Razer, and MusicMatch.
Oska makes a wearable product designed to reduce muscle stiffness, temporarily relieve minor pain and increase mobility. The company’s patented technology claims to optimize electromagnetic field technology, similar to other therapies used clinically for accelerating the body's ability to heal itself.
Ohlweiler brings 30 years experience in executive business, global marketing, product management, sales and finance.
“Oska is changing the way we manage pain and, in light of the opioid crisis, can provide an alternative way to treat people who live with the daily debilitations which are the results of chronic pain,” he said in a news release.
