Frontier Airlines on June 5 announced the addition of five new non-stop routes serving San Diego. The new destinations include Cleveland, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee and Raleigh/Durham.

The added services are scheduled to begin in August, with the Pittsburgh and Indianapolis nonstop flights kicking off Aug. 13. A single flight will be available to both destinations on Mondays and Fridays. The Cleveland and Raleigh/Durham services starts Aug. 15 and will operate every Wednesday and Saturday. And, the Milwaukee route will commence Aug. 14 and will continue with Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday service.

The new Frontier flights come on top of existing nonstop flights from San Diego to Austin, Cincinnati, Colorado Springs, Denver, Oklahoma City, Tulsa and San Antonio for a total of 12 nonstop destinations. The company is the only carrier to offer nonstop service from San Diego International Airport to Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Raleigh/Durham.

Headquartered in Denver, Frontier flies to nearly 90 U.S. cities and serves Canada, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
