PriceSmart Inc., the San Diego corporation which operates membership warehouse stores in Latin America and the Caribbean, reported third quarter net income of $18.7 million, or 61 cents per diluted share, on total revenue of $782.2 million. The quarter ended May 31.

In the same quarter one year ago, PriceSmart (Nasdaq: PSMT) reported net income of $18.8 million, or 62 cents per diluted share, on total revenue of $730.3 million.

Total revenue grew 7 percent from the year-ago quarter. The company had 41 warehouse clubs in operation as of May 2018, up from 39 clubs in May 2017.
