Waterbar restaurant has opened in Pacific Beach at 4325 Ocean Blvd., just south of the Crystal Pier.
The 6,700 square-foot eatery has floor-to-ceiling windows, a lounge and two bars.
“We’re thrilled to share this space with all of San Diego,” said Todd Brown, one of Waterbar’s owners. Brown also owns Bubs at the Beach, Bub’s at the Ballpark, and The Blind Burro.
Brown is joined by Eric Leitstein of OMG Hospitality Group and Joe Vaught of The Verant Group.
OMG Hospitality’s other restaurants include Union Kitchen & Tap, Backyard Kitchen & Tap, and Pacific Beach Alehouse.
The Verant Group restaurants include Barleymash, Tavern, Sandbar, Westroot, and True North Tavern.
Menu items at Waterbar include fish chowder, fish and chips, a variety of side dishes, craft brews and a wine list curated by Brent Noll, the in-house sommelier and general manager.
