San Diego-based Reflexion Health, a virtual rehabilitation therapy company, has entered into an agreement with Greensboro Orthopaedics.
Under the deal, Reflexion’s FDA-cleared digital system, Vera, will be used as part of Greensboro’s postoperative rehabilitation program for total-joint replacement patients.
Vera aims to bring physical therapy into the home, with tools that help clinicians remotely monitor patient progress. The system operates using an avatar and guided therapy exercises, and patients receive audio-visual feedback.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Greensboro is based in North Carolina.
