A Sorrento Mesa office building has been sold for $25 million.
The Yard, a 60,518 square-foot building at 5825 Oberlin Drive, was constructed in 1985 and renovated in 2017.
The property was sold by a joint venture of Local Advisors and Long Wharf Capital to TH Real Estate, an affiliate of Nuveen.
Rick Reeder and Brad Tecca of Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets in San Diego represented the seller. Bill Cavanagh and Mike Novkov of Cushman & Wakefield assisted.
“The Yard is an adaptive reuse of a single-story building repurposed into a multi-tenant creative project with design elements focusing on employee experience,” said Reeder, executive managing director of Cushman & Wakefield.
The Yard features electric vehicle charging stations, an electric bicycle program for tenants and is within walking distance of public transportation.
