The San Diego Museum Council has appointed Nicole Miller-Coleman as new executive director.
Miller-Coleman, who will take the role in January, succeeds previous Executive Director Theresa Kosen.
Miller-Coleman previously served as chief officer for Institutional Advancement at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum. Prior to that, she held various posts, including at the Community Resource Center North County, San Diego Botanic Garden and USS Midway Museum. She also brings more than 10 years of consulting and fundraising experience through her work with various nonprofit organizations.
Miller-Coleman holds a master’s degree in nonprofit leadership and management from the University of San Diego and a bachelor’s in art history/theory/criticism from the University of California, San Diego.
