Steve Martin, a seasoned CFO, has joined Dthera Sciences’ board.
Dthera Sciences is developing digital therapies for the elderly and those suffering from cognitive decline.
The company’s lead product, ReminX, powered by artificial intelligence, delivers reminiscence therapy, the discussion of past activities, events and experiences with the aid of items like photos. The consumer product is set to launch in the second quarter.
Martin is currently the CFO of AmpliPhi Biosciences, and previously the CFO of Apricus Biosciences and Stratagene. Prior to that, he was CFO and interim CEO of BakBone Software, which sold to Quest Software under his leadership. His resume includes additional life sciences and tech experience.
"I look forward to bringing to the company my financial expertise and my experience in attracting investors and capital in support of growing Dthera into a well-known leader in the digital therapeutic market,” said Martin in a news release.
Martin’s appointment brings Dthera’s board membership to four.
