Adam Spice, vice president and CFO of MaxLinear, Inc., announced April 2 that he is leaving the Carlsbad chip making company.
“I have made the very difficult decision to leave MaxLinear to pursue another opportunity,” Spice said in a press release. “I am proud to have been a member of an outstanding management team.”
He will leave the company effective May 23.
Spice will be joining the Huntington Beach-based Rocket Lab in a similar role. Rocket Lab is a privately held space orbital launch vehicle provider.
Kishore Seendripu, chairman and CEO of MaxLinear said Spice played a key role in the company’s growth since joining the team seven years ago. “We grew from a sub-$100 million revenue company in 2011 to one that generated $421 million in revenues in 2017,” Seendripu said.
A nationwide search for the company’s new CFO will begin immediately.
