The U.S. Army awarded General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. a $163.2 million deal to provide extended-range supplemental production hardware for the Gray Eagle unmanned aircraft.
Work will be performed in Poway and is expected to continue through July 2020.
The U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, awarded the deal, technically a contract modification. The deal was announced Sept. 29.
The company is an affiliate of privately held General Atomics, based on Torrey Pines Mesa.
