San Diego State University, University of San Diego, and Duane Morris LLP on Nov. 3 launched a joint program that will pair SDSU entrepreneurs with law students and attorneys.

Law students at USD School of Law's Entrepreneurship Clinic will help students who are establishing startups at the Lavin Entrepreneur Center at SDSU's Fowler College of Business get legal counsel.

Attorneys with Duane Morris, a Philadelphia-based international law firm with an office in San Diego, will oversee the transactions and provide transactional support during the new business' establishment.

The three entities involved said the partnership is the first of its kind in the region.
