San Diego-based enterprise software company Perspectium Corp. has raised an $8 million Series A funding round, the company announced Monday.
Perspectium was founded in 2013 by David Loo, a founding developer of ServiceNow. (ServiceNow, a software company that launched locally in 2004, went public in 2012 and relocated its headquarters to Santa Clara in 2014.)
The round – Perspectium’s first outside capital since its founding - was led by TVC Capital, a San Diego equity firm specializing in the software industry.
Steve Hamerslag, managing partner at TVC Capital, will join Perspectium’s board of directors.
Perspectium plans to use the money to expand its data service platform and to fund sales and marketing initiatives.
