Chicago-based GEM OPS LLC has acquired the eight-building Beachwalk retail center in Solana Beach for $33.25 million, according to CoStar Group and public data.

The seller of the property, at 437 S. Highway 101, was The Muller Co. of Irvine. The buyer and seller were represented by CBRE Group Inc.’s John Read, Phil Voorhees, Jimmy Slusher, Kirk Brummer and Reg Kobzi.

The 54,973-square-foot retail center was built on approximately 3 acres in 1993. Its retail, medical and office tenants include California Pizza Kitchen, Banfield Pet Hospital and the Italian Crush restaurant.
