Kleege Enterprises of San Diego has acquired a portfolio of several retail properties in the center of Coronado for approximately $22 million, according to brokerage firm CBRE Group Inc.

Brokers said the assets, recorded collectively as “Coronado Island Assemblage,” include 29,665 square feet of retail buildings situated on 49,948 square feet of land. The portfolio consists of nine parcels that have been assembled over the past 40 years, at 1005-1031 Orange Ave., 1000-1026 C Ave., and 1116 10th St.

The seller was a local family whose name was not disclosed by brokers. The buyer and seller were represented by CBRE’s Tim Kuruzar, Ken McLeod and Matthew Perlmutter.

The retail buildings in the deal were fully leased at the time of sale, with tenants including Mootime Creamery, Leroy’s Kitchen and Costa Azul.

According to CoStar Group and public data, the Coronado properties’ most recent recorded owner was Hartwell Properties Limited Partnership, registered in Las Vegas.
