San Diego investors John Lopez and Cheryl Lopez have acquired an 8-unit apartment property in the city’s Normal Heights neighborhood for $2.1 million, according to brokerage firm ACRE Investment Real Estate Services.

The seller of the building, at 3222 Collier Ave., was the Edna Holland Trust of San Diego. The buyer was represented by Patti McKelvey of Coldwell Banker West, and the seller was represented by ACRE’s Matt Robinson and Dylan Wright.

Brokers said the complex was built in 1972.
