The founder of San Diego’s female-only angel fund is launching a podcast for women investors.
Silvia Mah, founder of Hera Fund and female business accelerator Hera Labs, said the show is meant to help women investors learn from each other and evolve their investment thesis.
The podcast, called "She Invests," will be a weekly show that will interview female angel investors across the country.
"She Invests" is the latest in a slew of podcasts started by local startup organizations. Angel investor group Seed San Diego teamed up with San Diego Venture Group to launch Startup Vault late last year. There have been eight episodes of the show so far. Seed San Diego founder Allison Long Pettine said the podcast has another eight episodes in the pipeline.
Tech Coast Angels, an angel investor group in San Diego, has the most active local startup podcast. It’s called Startup Talk with Millard and Andrew, and it features interviews with local founders and leaders of the startup community. It launched this February and has already logged 19 episodes.
