San Diego-headquartered Castle Investment Co. Inc. has acquired a Kearny Mesa office building for $5.87 million, according to CoStar Group and public data.
The seller of the 49,517-square-foot property, at 8555 Aero Drive, was Lone Star Funds of Dallas.
The buyer was represented by Derek Applbaum of Colliers International Group Inc., and the seller was represented by Derek Hulse of Cushman & Wakefield.
The three-story property was built on 2 acres in 1982. It was approximately 79 percent leased at the time of sale by about 40 tenants, including Premier Food Services, Behavior Frontiers and Petra Resource Management.
