Moderator: Robert Rivinius, CAE Executive Director Family Business Association of California

Robert Rivinius serves as executive director of the Family Business Association of California, which represents more than 150 family businesses on public policy issues. His 40-year career in organizational management includes serving as president and CEO of the Greater Los Angeles World Trade Center Association. For 30 years, he was president and CEO of the California Building Industry Association, a statewide organization representing the homebuilding industry. He is currently a principal of the RHR Group. In 1987, Gov. George Deukmejian appointed Rivinius to the board of governors of the California Community Colleges. He was reappointed by Gov. Pete Wilson and served as president of the board in 1993. He was inducted into the California Building Industry Hall of Fame in 2004.
