The U.S. Navy awarded R.A. Burch Construction Co. Inc. a $22.5 million task order for demolition, repair and renovation of buildings at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center at Twentynine Palms.
The work includes water and sewer piping, lighting, wiring for electrical and telecommunications systems, as well as the demolition and installation of interior walls.
The task order includes one contract modification, which if exercised would increase the value of the deal to $24.2 million.
R.A. Burch is a small business based in Ramona. It was one of four companies submitting proposals.
The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest of San Diego made the award, which was publicly announced on Nov. 30.
