The government of Saudi Arabia awarded San Diego-based Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. up to $46.2 million worth of business over the next four years.
The Pentagon announced on Aug. 7 that the U.S. Navy made the award as a foreign military sale.
Work will go to company subsidiary Kratos Technology and Training Solutions Inc., which specializes in military training, training technology and information technology. The Pentagon said Kratos will help the Saudi government with program planning as well as technical and instructional services, which will support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. Ninety-five percent of the work will be done in Saudi Arabia (in Riyadh, Jubail, Jeddah and Ras al Ghar) while 5 percent of the work will be done in Orlando, Fla.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division of Orlando made the award.
