Coworking space DeskHub announced Sept. 16 that it expanded its San Diego location in Little Italy by roughly 50 percent, opening 8,000 square feet of new office space.
“Alongside San Diego’s innovation economy, we’ve grown and we’re ready to help more startups grow,” said Jay Chernikoff, the company’s founder and CEO. “DeskHub is committed to supporting San Diego entrepreneurs with an affordable and collaborative environment that allows them to get up and going immediately.”
More than 400 startups have launched in San Diego in the last three years.
DeskHub San Diego opened in August 2015 with six companies in 15,000 square feet of office space.
More than 60 startups, nonprofit organizations and small businesses now work out of its India Street location.
The expansion, which brings DeskHub San Diego’s space to 23,000 square feet, has private offices, additional common space, a secondary kitchen and a hammock.
