A Chinese buyer operating with a California limited liability company has acquired a Chula Vista building housing a California Bank & Trust branch for approximately $2.4 million, according to brokerage firm Pacific Coast Commercial.

The buyer was recorded as Hotel Ridgecrest LLC. The seller of the building, at 444 Third Ave., was Jost LLC of San Diego.

The buyer was represented by Pacific Coast Commercial’s Bo Gibbons and Lee Suryani. The seller was represented by Joe Southwick of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty.

According to CoStar Group and public data, the 5,063-square-foot building was constructed in 1999 and renovated in 2011.
