Cognitive Medical Systems, a San Diego-based company specializing in health IT software, announced May 31 that it will partner with Accenture on a multiple-award federal technology contract worth up to $22.3 billion.
With professional services company Accenture, Cognitive Medical Systems will help with clinical informatics and clinical decision support services for the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) Next Generation program.
This program is anticipated to be the method for Veterans Affairs (VA) to purchase IT solutions during its 10-year duration, according to a press release from Cognitive Medical Systems.
