Massachusetts-based Cape Ann Investment Properties LLC has purchased two Carlsbad office buildings for $43.3 million, according to CoStar Group and brokerage firm CBRE Group Inc.
The seller of the buildings, totaling 121,000 square feet at 5780-5790 Fleet St., was a client of Washington Capital Management Inc. of Seattle. The deal included the assumption of $18 million in debt by the buyer.
The buyer was represented by Matt Simonsen and Tom King of Property Reserve Inc., and the seller was represented by CBRE’s Louay Alsadek, Hunter Rowe and Andrew Taylor.
The two three-story buildings were constructed in 1999 on six acres within the Pacific Ridge Corporate Centre development. According to CBRE, the buildings were 92 percent leased at the time of sale.
