The U.S. Army awarded General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. a $24.8 million contract modification, covering an additional six months of logistics support for the Army’s Warrior A and Gray Eagle Block 0 unmanned aircraft systems. Warrior and Gray Eagle are versions of the Poway builder’s original aircraft, called the Predator.
The Pentagon announced the award on June 15. Work will be performed in Poway, and is expected to run through Dec. 15.
The Army Contracting Command of Redstone Arsenal, Ala. awarded the deal.
