The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce is leading its 11th annual California-Mexico Trade Initiative to Mexico City April 17-20 with nearly 90 business leaders and government officials from San Diego and Baja.

Delegates will meet with Mexican government officials and agencies to advance current projects and bring forward new initiatives, according to a release from the chamber. Mayor Kevin Faulconer and Tijuana Mayor Jorge Astiazarán will both take part in the trip. This is part of the chamber’s international advocacy work to enhance cross-border business and showcase the region’s global competitiveness, according to the release.
