Northrop Grumman Corp. recently said that it promoted Mick Jaggers to vice president and program manager for its Global Hawk unmanned aircraft system programs.

Global Hawk is the company’s unmanned, high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft. Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) manages the program in Rancho Bernardo.

“Mick’s focus on international expansion in Japan and Korea, continued production with Lot 11, and the future research and development opportunities with new sensors for the Global Hawk aircraft are all critical to ensure we continue to deliver on our commitment to our customers,” said Janis Pamiljans, vice president and general manager of Northrop’s unmanned systems division, in a prepared statement.

Jaggers has held positions of increasing responsibility in the company’s Aerospace Systems sector. Prior to joining Northrop Grumman in 2004, he spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force.
