The U.S. Air Force awarded Cubic Corp. an additional $9.9 million to provide solutions to enhance the Air Force’s chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear counter proliferation and survivability missions program.
Work is expected to last through 2020, and some work will be done in San Diego.
Under the deal announced on May 28, Kearny Mesa-based Cubic (NYSE: CUB) will research, test, evaluate and analyze short- and long-term chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear technologies.
The award comes on the heels of a $9.9 million award in January.
The Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio awarded the contract.
