Encinitas-based startup Owaves Inc. has launched its first app on iTunes –a wellness planner that allows users “positive lifestyle management.”
The app is the company’s first footstep into developing “Wellness 4D,” a lifestyle management system that incorporates wearable devices to help users track their daily activity patterns. It emphasizes exercise, sleep, nutrition, love and relaxation in an activity menu that allows users to include these as priorities along with traditional work, errands and other things that tend to be on schedules. The app is aligned to the local sunrise and sunset times, for instance, and nudges users to a healthy circadian rhythm, the company said.
“We’re redefining time,” Royan Kamyar, Owaves founder and CEO, said in a statement.
