Cubic Gets Air Force Contract Worth $6.9M

The U.S. Air Force said on March 28 that it awarded Cubic Corp. a one-year contract worth $6.9 million.

Money will go toward support for the P5 combat training system, a training aid that simulates weapons on aircraft. Specifically, funds will go toward depot follow-on contractor logistics support. Cubic (NYSE: CUB) will work on the ground subsystem in San Diego and the airborne subsystem in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

The office awarding the contract was the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla.
