CUSTOpharm Regulatory Services Inc. has acquired Aspire eCTD LLC, the acquiring company announced.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Carlsbad-based CUSTOpharm Regulatory Services, a provider of regulatory affairs services, acquired the eCTD publishing software company with which it has worked closely in the past to offer a broader range of services, according to CUSTOpharm.
CUSTOpharm said the acquisition will expand its portfolio of products and extend its regulatory services by connecting the service and the software as a comprehensive regulatory solution for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
The companies said the acquisition will not result in any changes to the Aspire eCTD product names and will cause no disruptions to the current Aspire eCTD customers.
“Combining the leading regulatory services with the best eCTD product on the market will enable our current and future customers to grow with us and succeed in achieving their goals,” said Fred Defesche, co-founder and president of CUSTOpharm Regulatory Services.
