Military Exercises $10.1 Million Option with Miramar Transportation

The U.S. Transportation Command announced on Dec. 1 that it exercised a six-month option of an existing contract with Miramar Transportation Inc.

The San Diego business will provide freight transportation of repairable parts from point of failure to repair facility, and then back to the military user under the Navy Advanced Traceability and Control program.

The contract is worth $10.1 million and will run through May 31. Work will be performed throughout the continental United States, Hawaii and Canada. With the new award, the total cumulative face value of the contract is $88.0 million.
