Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc., the defense holding company based in the University Towne Center area, said on July 7 that it recorded a net loss of $49.9 million on revenue of $229.3 million during its second quarter, which ended on June 29.
In the same quarter one year ago, Kratos (Nasdaq: KTOS) reported a net loss of $9.6 million on revenue of $235.2 million.
Looking ahead, Kratos forecast annual revenue in the range of $920 million to $960 million.
Additionally, the corporation announced that Gerald Beaman has been named president of its newly formed unmanned systems division, overseeing unmanned aerial, ground and sea-borne systems. Previously, Beaman was president of Kratos’ unmanned combat aerial systems division.
