Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Nomination Deadline Extended

The San Diego Business Journal has extended the nomination deadline for its popular Women Who Mean Business Awards. Nominations for the annual recognition will be accepted through Thursday, September 26, 2013. The awards program is celebrating its 20th year and features a retrospective of past recipients as well as honoring current women leaders in San Diego’s business, cultural and civic scenes.

This year’s event is slated for Wednesday, November 13, at Mission Valley’s Town and Country Resort and Convention Center. The event is one of the largest of its kind in San Diego and draws more than 1,000 attendees annually. Women are honored for their contributions to San Diego’s corporations, nonprofit organizations and social service agencies as well as their achievements as guardians of our families, our environment and our wellbeing.
