Nonprofit Leader Rana Sampson Joins SDBJ

The San Diego Business Journal has long had a commitment to philanthropy and the nonprofit sector in San Diego.

Accordingly, it is a pleasure that Rana Sampson has agreed to accept the appointment as “Special Projects Advisor” with the San Diego Business Journal. Her major focus will assist us with our commitment to nonprofit 501(c) (3) organizations, which includes raising the profile of these organizations in these difficult economic times.

“Rana has a very impressive background and resume and it is an honor to have her associated with the San Diego Business Journal, said Armon Mills, president and publisher. “Her commitment to the San Diego community and to philanthropy makes the association very meaningful and exciting.”

Sampson was most recently the vice president of development and marketing for the San Diego Center for Children.

Prior to her work at the Center, she was an international crime consultant to law enforcement.
