The San Diego Business Journal is offering its estimated 42,000 daily eNews subscribers an introductory subscription to the Journal’s weekly print and online editions.
Publisher Armon Mills and Editor Reo Carr launched the subscription drive last week in an effort to bring the weekly format’s deeper and more contextual coverage to a larger audience. Each subscription includes the weekly print and digital edition, access to eight years of archives and the annual Book of Lists, which is published in December.
Mills said that while the Journal’s daily breaking online articles “are essential to being informed,” they are generally brief and meant to quickly give readers an overview of the day’s business news, on the Web.
“Those who subscribe to our full suite of news stories will receive the breaking news they need on a daily basis and benefit from the reflection our weekly format provides,” Mills said. “Rare is the day a business news story doesn’t reverberate across several sectors.”
