Wednesday, October 23, 2013

Tin Roof, a Nashville-based chain of restaurants and music clubs, plans to open its first local location in downtown San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter. The debut is planned for the first quarter of 2014.

Operators have signed a 10-year, $4.2 million lease for an 11,235-square-foot space at 401 G. St, according to brokerage services provider Cassidy Turley, which represented Tin Roof Acquisition Co. LLC in the transaction.

The landlord, Carriage Works LLC, was represented by Cushman & Wakefield. The Gaslamp space was most recently occupied by Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery.

The Tin Roof was founded in 2002 and now has 11 locations in six states, primarily in the Southeast and Midwest. The venues feature live music and a menu that includes quesadillas, sandwiches and salads.
