San Diego-based BioNano Genomics Inc. has received $10 million in financing to support its human genome analysis platform.
The private company’s current investors, Battelle Ventures, Domain Associates and Gund Investment Corp., participated in the financing.
The company, founded in 2006, last year raised about $33.5 million in Series B funding. The company said it will use this latest round to commercialize its flexible platform capable of providing high-resolution, single-molecule analysis of extremely long DNA.
