Tuesday, May 28, 2013

The U.S. Army recently awarded Cubic Corp. a $75.8 million training deal.

The award goes to the Cubic Applications unit, which provides combat training services in support of the Joint Readiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La.

The center at Fort Polk includes more than a dozen mock Middle Eastern villages used for training troops.

The recent award was a modification to a previously awarded, cost-plus-award-fee training contract, the Department of Defense said.

The cumulative total face value of the contract is $680.5 million. The Army Contracting Command at Fort Polk made the award.
