POWAY

Business Park to House Another Shooting Range

The City Council recently approved plans to build another shooting range in the Poway Business Park. This time it is new construction rather than a building conversion.

The proposed building on Danielson Street would take up 40,000 square feet and include 42 shooting lanes as well as retail space.

Hamann Construction of El Cajon applied for the conditional use permit on behalf of Poway Weapons & Gear.

Earlier this year, the council OK’d a plan to convert a different building in the business park to a shooting range.
