The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University has named Dawn R. Eisenberg as the new director of the college’s Corky McMillin Center for Real Estate.

Eisenberg’s new job began July 15, according a statement from the university. She succeeds Michael Lea, who will stay on at SDSU’s business college as a visiting professor of real estate.

Eisenberg comes to the new post after working at the Kogod School of Business at American University in Washington, D.C., where she served as program director and professor in the school’s real estate graduate program.

Gangaram Singh, interim dean of SDSU’s business college, said Eisenberg was chosen following a lengthy and thorough nationwide search.

The school’s real estate education center is named for the late local developer Macey L. “Corky” McMillin, who founded the family-run San Diego firm now known as The Corky McMillin Cos.
