Capstone Affluent Strategies, a Newport Beach wealth management firm, opened an office in downtown San Diego, its 11th office nationwide, the firm said.

Launched in October by Darin Pastor, a former JP Morgan Chase & Co. senior investment manager, the firm has grown its network to more than 30 advisers in 12 markets. The local team is made up of Investment executives Chris Ramey, Allison Alley, Kevin Appelbaum and Ryan Cullumber.

In addition to San Diego and Newport Beach, the firm is also opening an office in Irvine, and has offices are in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Parsippany, N.J. and New York.

Capstone has about $480 million under management nationally.
