Ramona ‘Nanobrewery’ Sets Grand Opening for Feb. 24
Friday, February 15, 2013A brewery on Ramona’s main drag is getting ready for its grand opening later this month.
ChuckAlek Independent Brewers LLC is a project of husband-and-wife team Grant Fraley and Marta Jankowska. The 1,700-square-foot venue at 2330 Main St. is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It had a soft opening in January.
Jankowska calls the operation a “nanobrewery” since it produces just 1 barrel — or 31 gallons — of beer at a time. “All the beers are inspired by old family stories,” said Jankowska.
