Integra Biotechnical Completes Relocation, Expansion of Tijuana Plant

Thursday, February 7, 2013

Integra Biotechnical, a division of Arizona-based Providien LLC and the operator of two facilities in San Diego’s North County, said it completed a relocation and expansion of its Tijuana manufacturing plant.

The new plant, totaling 69,000 square feet, is located in the Los Pinos area of Tijuana, and allows the medical device manufacturer to improve efficiencies and reduce costs, said Providien CEO Jeff Goble.

In addition to the Tijuana plant, Integra operates a 50,000-square-foot injection molding facility in Carlsbad and a 20,000-square-foot warehouse and logistics site in Vista.

Integra Biotechnical, acquired by Providien in 2011, is a vertically integrated medical device contract manufacturer that provides a full range of services to customers.
