San Diego nonprofit the Chairmen’s Roundtable, which provides advice and pro-bono mentoring to local businesses, has partnered with the Beyster Institute at UC San Diego’s Rady School of Management.

The strategic partnership was formed to help local companies build successful business models.

“We are very excited about this relationship,” Steven Mendell, CRT’s chairman, said in a statement. “The Beyster Institute shares our passion for helping local companies succeed.”

The Beyster Institute said it focuses on education and consulting to forge the creation of successful employee ownership cultures.

The Chairmen’s Roundtable is a volunteer organization made up of more than 40 current and former CEOs that provides business mentorship and advice as a way to give back to the community.
