Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Morris was appointed to the California Housing Partnership Corp. by Gov. Jerry Brown.
The California Housing Partnership Corp. is a nonprofit organization that helps government and nonprofit agencies preserve and expand the supply of affordable housing.
Morris, 66, is the former president and chief executive officer for the San Diego Housing Commission, where she worked from 1979 to 2008. Since her retirement in 2008, she has been a principal at E.M. Advisors, a San Diego based consultancy.
The position is unpaid and requires confirmation from the California Senate, according to an announcement from Brown.
