Four Sorrento Mesa office buildings are among seven properties purchased by New Jersey-based Prudential Real Estate Investors, in a portfolio deal valued at $405 million.

The seller was The Blackstone Group of New York City, according to CoStar Group and public data. The three other buildings in the deal are located in Pasadena.

The San Diego properties are at 9276 and 9330 Scranton Road, and at 5355 and 5375 Mira Sorrento Place. Those four buildings, totaling more than 560,000 square feet, were valued at approximately $222 million, according to CoStar.

The local properties were built in 1989, 1991 and 2001.The two Mira Sorrento Place buildings, known as Sorrento Towers, carry the name of tenant Qualcomm Inc., which owns and leases space at several locations in Sorrento Mesa.
