Specialty Manufacturer Plans Move to Lakeside

EagleBurgmann EJS, a Santee-based maker of pipe-expansion and related components used in several industries, has signed a $12.5 million, 15-year lease for a build-to-suit industrial facility being built in Lakeside.

According to CoStar Group, ground will be broken in the first quarter of 2013 on a new 70,158-square-foot building at River Run Business Park, off Riverside Drive. EagleBurgmann is expected to move into the facility in the third quarter.

The property is owned by Lakeside Land Co. Inc. The facility is being developed by Marathon Construction Corp. of Lakeside, and the architect is Kenneth D. Smith Architect & Associates Inc. of El Cajon.

EagleBurgmann EJS serves customers in industries including electric power, oil and petrochemical, pulp and paper, according to its website.
